Tomorrow I am going into hospital for a total right-knee replacement. It is something that many seniors will probably have to face. I had my left knee replaced a couple of years back. Because I only have two legs I will tell you what it was like while I have the chance.

The hospital was undergoing renovations at the time. As I lay on the gurney outside the operating theatre I could hear much sawing and hammering. I hoped it was the carpenters and not the surgeons.
