CAREER/RETIREMENT STATUS: Worked in policing for 28 years. Retired in 1994.
• Joined the O.P.P and worked at Lindsay Detachment and Peterborough Headquarters
• Taught at the Ontario Police College from where he retired
• Developed and taught the first Physical Fitness Program for Policing in Ontario, plus other training programs
• First crime-prevention coordinator for the Province of Ontario
• Instructor-trainer for First Aid training with the St. John Ambulance
• Past lieutenant governor for Optimist International
• Special security officer for the Toronto Blue Jays
PREVIOUS SENIOR GAMES PARTICIPATION:
• Gold-medal winner in swimming at the London Senior Games, and competed in swimming at the Ontario Senior Games in Hamilton
• Gold-medal winner for the London Senior Games and the Ontario Senior Games in slo-pitch in London

• Usually on the ball field five days during the week in the spring and summer
