The Toronto Star Golf & Travel Show presented by UnderPar.com returns to The International Centre for its 29th year.
From Friday to Sunday, Feb. 8 to 10 attendees will have the unique opportunity to meet and engage with exhibitors and PGA experts from across North America, try the latest and greatest in golf equipment, clothing and accessories and enter to win a wide variety of contests and travel adventures. This year gets even more exciting with renowned company Under Par – providing golfers with the great value tee off times online- coming on board as the main sponsor.
One of the largest Golf and Travel shows in North America and the biggest in Canada, it will welcome PGA professionals Nick Starchuk, Ontario PGA Hall of Famer Sam Young and PGA of Canada Shawn Clement and renowned short game specialist PGA of Canada Gareth Raflewski to the main stage for a series of daily seminars. Raflewski is the short game coach for the No. 1 LPGA Leading Money winner Ariya Jutanugarn and will be on the stage on Saturday.
Golfers interested in travel will have access to dozens of premium resorts from Florida, South and North Carolina, Arizona, New York, Maryland, Michigan, Ohio and California to Ireland and more. It’s a chance to check out golf vacation packages and special rates exclusive to the show. For travellers interested in staying in Canada, the Ontario Pavilion will be offering giveaways and show specials for golf course and resorts from across Ontario.
Drop by the National Golf Course Owner’s Association (NGCOA) Spring Into Golf feature – back by popular demand – as they give away 5,000 rounds of golf on a first-come first-served basis. This year the NGCOA will bring back its auction offering rounds of golf for twosomes and foursomes at some of the most prestigious courses in the GTA, on the Main Stage.
Other must-check out show highlights include: the PGA of Ontario teaching area; Manufacturer’s Demo Range highlighting the latest in golf clubs; golf simulators, the Spectacular Putting Challenge – where there are prizes to be won as participants put their putting skills to the test. The Uncle Ross Cash for Clubs (sell your new and used clubs), the popular Long Driving Contest as well as the Great Ontario Live Auction featuring some of Ontario’s top rated public and private courses.
