Free, informative and entertaining are three words that aptly describe the Forever Young 50+ Lifestyle and Retirement Show

The senior-focused event on Sunday, May 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. indoors at Burlington’s Royal Botanical Gardens Visitor Centre offers free admission, informative seminars, live entertainment, a variety of exhibitors and onsite parking.

Back for the 19th time, the twice-annual show presented by Forever Young newsmagazine welcomes the first 750 visitors with loot bags packed with information provided by businesses not able to attend.

The extensive list of exhibitors features everything for seniors including retirement residences, financial experts, health practitioners and tour operators. The Forever Young 50+ Lifestyle and Retirement Show also features retailers and community groups that offer opportunities for fun and outlets for various talents and interests.

Exhibitors are eager to speak to the attendees about their business and some will be offering giveaways. Be sure to visit Forever Young’s booth to get a ticket for a chance to win one of the many door prizes that will be given away throughout the day.

There will be four informative 20-minute seminars at scheduled times throughout the show.

The afternoon also will feature the sounds of The Toronto All Star Big Band, back by popular demand to perform a one-hour set beginning at 3 p.m. The talented young musicians perform music from the golden age of big bands (1930 to 1950) throughout Ontario and the United States. The band engages in cultural nostalgia with excellent programming and choreography.
