John Lester, executive services director for Rocklands Talent and Management, reports on the recent Tommy Hunter tour of Canada that featured 21 shows from Prince Edward Island to Alberta between Jan. 11 and Feb. 6:

“Well everyone is back home safe and sound, the guitars have been stored away for now and the 2010 Tommy Hunter Tour has officially been declared a huge success. In fact the tour came off without a hitch, and even the weather man was cooperative.

“The crowds were fantastic everywhere along the route. Whether it was in a bigger city like Edmonton or Saint John, NB,  or a smaller town like Cobalt Ont., the fans came out in big numbers to see and hear once again the man they welcomed into their living room each and every week by way of television for over 36 consecutive years.”

Hunter turns 73 on March 10.
